You are also able to find your own species in different nests throughout the stage, their behavior often neutral unless attacked. Usually, Maxis-made creations are all you'll see if you just begin the game, but the more creations you make and more creations from other people you have, the rarer Maxis-made creations will become when playing normally. Their behavior is also influenced by their stats (a creature with more attack power will become more aggressive, for example). Many of maxis-made creatures will appear randomly throughout the stage, when they appear depending on both your stats and theirs.
